Teatro Vivo have been commissioned by Ideas Test to start collecting people’s thoughts on what a play on the Isle of Sheppey should be.
Throughout June 2026 Teatro Vivo Usherettes will be out at events across the island chatting to members of the public asking ‘What should a play about Sheppey include’ – if you see them around then please go and say hello. You can find them here:

Followed by an OPEN WORKSHOP on Thursday 25th June

Teatro Vivo invites you to come and help create a show for Sheppey! This fun and playful session will use drama and music to explore ideas for a new play about Sheppey. Absolutely no previous experience necessary. For age 14+

Come and discover what ideas the people of Sheppey have given us for a community play on the island. This is your chance to vote for which idea will be taken forward and made into an exciting immersive production next year. Open to everyone.
Teatro Vivo will also be running workshops in local schools and in community spaces for everyone to have their say on what the show should be.
