Brompton Halloween: Returns for Year Two!

Following the hauntingly good success of our debut year, the Brompton Halloween Team is back for 2026! We are once again coming together to create a spectacular, fun, and memorable Halloween celebration for the whole Brompton area.

Last year, we reignited an old spark, reviving a beloved local tradition that had fizzled out 15 years ago. By placing the decision-making directly into the hands of local residents who met monthly at Tracie’s Cafe, we created something truly special. From Kat Pegler’s bespoke ghost story and Xtina Lamb’s upcycling costume workshops to an immersive trail directed by Nic Lamont with set design by Claire Rowlands, 2025 proved what our community can achieve together.

As we prepare for another unforgettable event, our core mission remains the same:

  • Fun & Accessibility: Making Brompton an exciting, welcoming place to be through high-quality, free activities.
  • Pride of Place: Fostering community spirit through shared creative experiences.
  • Sustainable Tradition: Keeping the local Halloween tradition alive and thriving in a fresh, modern way.

Crucially, this project continues to prioritise hiring local Medway talent and using community assets like Tracie’s Cafe. By giving the power and budget directly to residents, we are ensuring this year’s sequel is built by the community, for the community.
