Beatbox’n Bins – Luton Road

Meet our Beatbox’n Bins on Luton Road, Chatham. These fun, interactive bins are part of a creative health project between Medway Council and Ideas Test, bringing creativity and environmental action together in Chatham.

Designed by artist & sound designer Thor McIntyre-Burnie, Artistic Director of Aswarm. They feature 40 different beats dropped by World Champion Beatboxer Rupert Oldridge of The Beatbox Collective, and pupils from Luton Primary School and Phoenix Primary School.

The best part? They drop litter-based lyrics every time you use them, making cleaning up fun, rewarding, and good for the planet.

We love beatboxing, and it’s good for the environment. We can pick up litter and help the world.
