Flux is a Kent-wide project for young people that is happening throughout 2022.

Flux is all about feeling better about yourself, your opportunities, and your future, by getting involved in the arts.
Ideas Test is delivering Flux in two locations across Medway. As part of the project, everyone taking part will have the opportunity to gain an Arts Award.
Facilitator, Nathaniel Fothergill, is working with students at Victory Academy in Chatham to make the music they love with workshops exploring singing, song writing, rapping, spoken word, performing arts and more. These sessions unlock students’ creative potential through music technology, while also building confidence and raising self-esteem.

In their first term the students  wrote and performed a rap track which reflected how they see where they live and the world they live in today.

In Autumn 2022 we will also be working with students at the Will Adams Centre in partnership with site-specific theatre company, Dante or Die. Watch this space to see what they make!

Flux will end with an event that brings everyone together in December 2022 to celebrate what young people from across Kent have made & achieved.
