News: Ideas Test – Seed Commissions 2020

We’re offering six small seed commissions specifically for artists and/or community-based groups in Medway and Swale.

Ideas Test Director, Lucy Medhurst said;

“We’re announcing a set of seed commissions to actively promote opportunities for artists working in community engagement and social cohesion. We are also keen to encourage and support diverse work from young, Black, Asian, and other ethnicities from our community, our LGBTQ+ community,  people with disabilities, and those from working and benefit class backgrounds. We’re also offering mentoring and other support.”

The Seed Commissions are opportunities to create or research artwork that reflects the times we live in.  The artwork should open conversations and collaborations to imagine our shared future and new ways of being.

There are 6 commissions available offering up to £400 to include all expenses.

Visit our Seed Commissions page for details on how to apply

The closing date for applications is 5 pm, Monday 6th July.
