Ideas Test are delighted to announce that Tracy Brunt, formerly Deputy Director of Ideas Test, will be taking up the role of Director from 1st April 2022.
This exciting news follows the January announcement that Lucy Medhurst is stepping down as Director at the end of March. Over the past two years in her role as deputy, Tracy has been instrumental in supporting Lucy in raising funds, gaining charitable status and novation of the Creative People and Places (CPP) grant to the new charity and establishing a wide variety of new programming strands.
Tracy now takes over the role at an incredibly exciting time for Ideas Test. From April 2022, we will receive continued support as a Creative People and Places (CPP) programme, which is now part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio (NPO), funded until the end of March 2025.
“I am so excited about this opportunity,” says Tracy. “It’s a privilege to be able to take Ideas Test forward when, thanks to Lucy and the team, the company is so well placed to build on ambitious creative partnerships with the communities of Swale and Medway.”
“We are incredibly thrilled with the new appointment of Tracy as the new Director.
Having demonstrated her commitment, dedication and passion as deputy we fully support the transition and are excited at the journey ahead.
Tracy has the full backing of the board as she leads and drives forward Ideas Test into the new ambitious next phase as an NPO and further establishes and strengthens itself in the Wider context, through dynamic creative cultural and Impactful engagement into the communities of Swale and Medway”
