T-shirt and Bag painting workshop with Chris Reed

Inspired by the plants and creatures living in the intertidal zone on Sheerness beach participants are invited to join Chris Reed to create their own t-shirt design masterpiece. There will be printed images of the seaside plants and animals to help inspire your drawings, plus plenty of other stencils, and print blocks and paints available.

This workshop is free to take part, but we advise people to book to make sure we have enough space and materials ordered. Open to all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult. About Chris Reed

The workshop will be led by Chris Reed who has led Big Fish Arts for the last 20 years. Chris’s background is in Drama & Costume. She has run numerous Art workshops and organised lantern workshops, parades & festivals using the History of Sheppey as her inspiration. Chris Reed is a visual and performance artist. Chris runs Big Fish Arts Trust, a multi-disciplinary community arts organisation. This workshop is part of Intertidal Allotment, commissioned by Cement Fields. Intertidal Allotment is long-term project by Andrew Merritt, one half of the artist duo Something & Son, creating a functional artwork and new community allotment on the north coast of Sheppey. The project is kindly supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and The National Lottery Community Fund.
