Young At HeArt: Culture Club – with Medway & Swale Estuary Partnership

Young At HeArt, our programme of events created for those aged 55+, will holding another CULTURE CLUB event at No.34 on Tuesday 14 November between 2pm and 4pm.

Come along for a talk from Belinda Lamb of Medway & Swale Estuary Partnership. She will be talking about their fascinating work on the Guardians of the Deep Citizens Science project, and letting you know what opportunities there are to get involved.

The Guardians of the Deep project focuses on Kent’s Marine Conservation Zones, which includes the beautiful and varied coastline between the Medway and Swale Estuary and Folkestone. The aim of the project is to inspire and involve local communities.

It is funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, led by Kent Wildlife Trust, in partnership with the MSEP and Thanet Coast Project, with support from Natural England and Kent County Council.

All of our Young At HeArt events are free of charge, and refreshments will be available.

About Young At HeArt

Young At HeArt is a programme of creative activities for people aged 55+ in the Sittingbourne and Swale area.

The project has been created by Ideas Test, Swale CVS and Swale Seniors Forum, and made possible with funding by the Big Lottery Fund’s Awards For All.

Participants will be able to pick and choose from a regular programme of events.

Every other Tuesday there’ll be a range of activities, talks and films for people to enjoy.
