Sea Folk Sing: Live performance + The Flowing @ Sheerness East Working Men’s Club
23rd November 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Free indoor performance at Sheerness East Working Men’s Club + Institute. Seated. Accompanied by The Flowing.
The Sea Folk Sing choral group presents a beautiful collection of new songs written with the people of North Kent. From the energetic The Dockyard Rush to the enigmatic Hidden Powers, the work is an exploration of our historic relationship with the sea and of our hopes for the future in the face of changing tides.
Featuring support from Rochester folk band The Flowing with guest Russell Jemmett, and the songwriters of the new work, Anil Sebastian, Lucky Moyo, Naomi Bedford and Paul Simmonds.
Sea Folk Sing is an Ideas Test + SparkedEcho production touring Gravesend, Gillingham and Sheerness during 2-23 November 2019.
