All set for Art in The Park

The Friends of Milton Creek have finalised a few more details for Art in the Park on Saturday, July 19th.

This will be a free fun day out for all the family with many forms of art and entertainment. New this year will be a real ale micro pub and a hog roast.

There are hands-on workshops including pavement chalk art, break dancing and creative writing or the chance to make an eco friendly bug home or clay model to take home. A chainsaw artist will be demonstrating his craft by carving a huge log at the entrance to the Park and other activities will include musicians, singers, dancers and crafters, face painting, the chance to hold a very large spider or try-out geocaching, and much, much more.

A souvenir map & programme will be available to guide you around a Discovery Trail and the entertainment activities. Limited on site parking will be available on the day for a small fee. So do join the festivities and spread the word to family and friends.
There is still time to get involved and space for more stalls, entry details can be found at
The day will run from 10am – 4pm.
