Arts, Culture, Heritage and Community Funding Bodies

Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from the Government and the National Lottery. Contact your local office for more information.

Heritage Fund – The National Lottery Heritage Fund is the largest dedicated funder of heritage in the UK.

Kent County Council Community Grants & Funding – Details on funding currently available for community projects in the Kent area.

Kent Arts Investment Fund – Enabling arts activity to take place and to support artists to develop their creative practice, in order to grow the Kent economy and bring about positive change for residents and visitors in the county.

These two grants are for projects in the Swale area.  £10,000 is available in both the Culture and Heritage Grants pot.

Medway Council Small Grants Programme – The Medway Small Grants Programme is open to groups whose activities benefit Medway residents.

Medway Council Connect Register – aims to support arts professionals or adults with an interest in arts and culture in Medway.

The Connect Register can help you find out about events such as workshops, courses, projects, performances, exhibition previews, opportunities such as networking, training or professional development, commissions or jobs.
