1915: then and now is a project aiming to inspire young people (aged 13-25 years old) across Swale to be actively involved in making a visual art response to the first world war and learn how it impacted on life in Swale both during 1915 and thereafter. The project is being delivered by Ideas test, in partnership with Swale Borough Council, and South East Museum Development Programme.
Participants will learn about their local history and discover new ways of responding creatively with the help of professional local artists.
There are five free art workshops happening over the Summer:
Thursday 30th July: Free Stitch Drawing Workshop
Monday 3rd August: Ceramics Workshop
Friday 7th August: Outdoor Sculpture Workshop
