Wild Namibia: Desert Photographs

Taken over 10 days travelling with 10 women on The Matriarch Adventure: Cassandra’s images share the vastness and detail of her journey through the Namibian wilderness.

Then…Now…Here!

Drop into No34 between 11am to 2pm and take a trip down memory lane, examining Sittingbourne’s past and present.

‘Substrate’ – photographs by Rikard Österlund

Rikard Österlund’s combination of wet plate photographs and black & white portraits and scenes from around the Medway Towns reveal the underlying substance of his subjects. Using an Edwardian camera he has developed a specialism in the 19th-century wet plate photographic process, which with its need for long exposures and careful chemistry, is the antithesis of digital image making.
