No. 34

In Nov 2015, Ideas Test moved to its new home at No.34 High Street in Sittingbourne, a renovated retail unit in the main shopping area of the town.

Thanks to additional support from Kent County Council, we are managing No.34 as a venue in which to house our Ideas Test Creative Network programme as well as a range of fun, creative community arts activities, Ideas Test @ No.34.

No.34 is the place to find out about the Spirit of Sittingbourne’s regeneration plans, whilst also offering opportunities for people across Swale and Medway to get involved in creativity in ways they choose. The building is open to the public 11am4pm Tuesday Saturday, with regular dropin workshops on Saturday mornings.

Pop in and have a look or come along to one of our regular events, including our monthly exhibition in The Stairwell Gallery, showcasing the work of artists that we’ve supported in the past. Spinach, our monthly informal networking event to support local artists to expand their networks across the area, now has a regular home at No.34.

We are dedicated to making No.34 a place to nurture young creative talent. Our programme for young people includes #Squad34 – digital creative fun in and around Sittingbourne.

Future Foundry’s Student Makers Market is helping young artists and makers sell their work and regularly pitch up at No.34.
