Try New Things – Making Puppets with Nicole Mollett

April 26 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Try New Things is our new monthly creative workshops where you can try something arty, have fun and discover new talents!

Due to current events, for the next few months, all our sessions will be free and online.

Our first Try New Things session is with artist Nicole Mollett.

Learn how to make puppets like these online with Nicole Mollett this April!

Nicole will show you how you can make a character puppet using simple materials in your home.

This is a child-friendly workshop.

You’ll explore puppet-making using materials like papier-mâché, fabric, wool, foam, tissue paper etc., and of course paints and finishing decorations.

Many of these materials can be recycled or reused from things you can find around your home.

Nicole’s film will go live on our Ideas Test YouTube channel at 11 am (BST) on Sunday 26th April 2020 where you can either watch live or watch later at a time to suit you.

Don’t worry – we’ll post the link here very soon!
