Celebrate Sea Folk Sing with this new exhibition. Join a journey that takes you through the making of ‘Never Again’, an exciting new large-scale production composed by Emily Peasgood with lyrics by Kate Lynn-Devere. It was performed by a local choir across venues in Strood, Sittingbourne, Sheppey and Chatham.

As the lyrics in ‘Never Again’ say, keep putting one foot in front of the other as you explore an assortment of props and intriguing material from the performances. You’ll be able to access exclusive footage from rehearsals, see production photos and be treated to recordings of the final performances.

Sea Folk Sing is rooted in community engagement; it was from local people’s stories about WW1 that ‘Never Again’ was formed in the first place. We’d love to hear what you think about the exhibition or about Sea Folk Sing in general, so you’ll also have the chance to add comments and ideas to our chalkboard wall as you pass through.
