Extended Performance

Beyond Conflict’ is an extended performance that will include a showcase of music work created in the Sea Folk Sing workshops in North Kent over the summer. At the core of the work has been a series of imaginings and questions to people who could count themselves survivors of WW1 on 12th November 1918, and our own relationship with peace: Where does empathy begin? How can we better manage difficult memories? What is the role of truth in the political re-telling? Can we evolve beyond conflict?

Includes guest artists – Naomi Bedford, Jane Pitt and Elizabeth Hayward, and composer Emily Peasgood.
