Painting and Drawing: A Practical Approach – WEA course

Ideas Test are welcoming WEA to No.34 for a 7-week Mixed Media and Art course – Painting and Drawing: A Practical Approach.

Open to all levels this practical painting and drawing course will offer support and opportunities to develop and explore personal creativity.

You will be shown a variety of techniques using different art materials and have plenty of time to experiment and build confidence in using them.

Themes will be suggested by the tutor but there will also be freedom to choose individual subjects and ideas.

Art materials will include charcoal, inks, watercolour, pastels and acrylic paint.

The course runs every Friday for 7 weeks between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on the following dates;

  • Friday 15 September
  • Friday 22 September
  • Friday 29 September
  • Friday 6 October
  • Friday 13 October
  • Friday 20 October
  • Friday 3 November

We’re offering Painting and Drawing: A Practical Approach for only £42 – that’s only £6 per week – with all materials are provided.

The course is also free for those on income related benefits.
