Identity Tapestry – August Drop-In
August 5 @ 8:00 am - August 31 @ 4:00 pmFree
“I like to keep my promises”
“I am curious”
“I hate change”
In August we’ll be weaving our Identity Tapestry.
Come and join us on Saturday 5 August between 11am-2pm, and throughout August, where we’ll be weaving our big temporary wall tapestry.
Just take a piece of thread and trace your own life journey using our prompt cards to lead the way.
Your contribution will be unique, and it will help form a larger network constructed of multi-coloured threads that weave together a communal wall of the varied memories, thoughts and beliefs of local people.
It will also celebrate the extraordinary things all us ‘ordinary’ people achieve across our lives, just like Ted Hannaford did with his World Record French Knitting, exhibiting at No.34 across August.
Identity Tapestry will start on Saturday 5th August and you can contribute until Thursday 31 August during opening times.
