June 24 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pmFREE
Join Hazel from Kent Bat Group and meet some of Kent’s famous Bat species at No.34.
Kent is home to 14 of Britain’s Bat species and on Saturday, 24 June we’ll be introducing you to some of these amazing flying mammals face to face!
You’ll be able to listen to Bat sonar sounds and try out a Bat detector which lets us discover noises humans can’t normally hear and you can ask questions about everything Bat-related; from where they sleep to how we can help protect them.
Hazel Ryan is the Bat Care Coordinator for Kent Bat Group, she cares for rescued bats until they can be released back into their habitat and will be sharing her knowledge on surveying, hibernating and Bat boxes.
