Creative Job Club is Ideas Test’s new project for 18-25s who want to gain experience of working in the digital and creative industries.
Funded by a NatWest Skills and Opportunities Fund award, it aims to give young people work experience, mentoring, help in practical job seeking skills such as CV writing, and regular workshops and talks from industry professionals.
The second Creative Job Club event is from Freya Briley and Gordon Lamont is a special confidence and team-building ‘bootcamp’.
Freya is a young entrepreneur. She created Jest4Entertainment which runs confidence and team-building workshops for organisations, schools and other businesses.
Gordon is a freelance content creator who has worked for the BBC and the Discovery Channel, and is also the workshop leader behind Ideas Test’s Confidence To Create programme.
This event is only for those signed up to Creative Job Club.

About Freya Briley
Freya is a Drama and Theatre Studies specialist whose business focuses on the development of essential interpersonal skills: confidence, communication, mental wellbeing and self-esteem; leading to more effective team work and individual creativity. Her practice focusses on the use and implementation of kinaesthetic and interactive activities, delivered in a sensitive and non-threatening manner. Freya’s workshops are highly valued for taking participants on a creative journey in a relaxed and positive atmosphere.
About Gordon Lamont
Gordon is a freelance content creator who has worked for BBC Learning, Discovery Channel Education, Historic Royal Palaces, Parliament’s Curator’s team and many more. He specialises in learning resources in all formats; short film, print, online, and audio. He runs creative thinking and innovation courses for a variety of clients and instigated the Confidence to Create programme at Ideas Test. He was part of the BBC BAFTA winning team for ’Off by Heart’ and his films have twice been nominated for Learning on Screen awards. You can find out more about Gordon and his work on his website.
