Ideas Test and Medway Arts Team are hosting this free event at The Brook Theatre to share information about the latest funding pots and priorities from Arts Council England, National Lottery Heritage Fund and SECCADS (South East Creative Cultural and Digital Sector)
Engagement and Audiences Regional Manager for Arts Council England in the South East, Dulcie Alexander will present information about Project Grants and Developing Your Creative Practice Awards. Dulcie will also have 5 available individual appointments to discuss projects that are in development.
Joanne McAleer is the Engagement Manager, London & South for The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Joanne will share information about the National Lottery Grants for Heritage from £3000 to £5m. Joanne will also have 5 slots for individuals or organisations who wish to discuss a specific project bid.
SECCADS (South East Creative Cultural and Digital Support) supports the growth and sustainability of the creative, cultural and digital sectors in the South East. Kent and Medway Local Coordinator Dan Chilcott will introduce the programme and funding streams for all and offer 121 sessions for individual advice.
Cerian Eiles is a Medway resident and Executive Director of Achates Philanthropy. Achates brings together a team of expert Associates who’ve worked on successful projects with a range of organisations across the arts and cultural sectors. Cerian will be supporting our round table discussion on a wide range of private funding, including trusts and foundations, and how to develop your organisation towards long term sustainability, you can read more about their approach to fundraising here.
This event is open to all artforms and sectors aiming to deliver cultural programmes.
There will also be an opportunity to network informally or discuss barriers to fundraising in a round table with the other attendees whilst 121s take place.
The last surgery sessions at No.34 were hugely popular and supported artists, charities and local authorities in their bid writing processes.
