2 April, 11am – 3pm @ No.34
BBC Get Creative Day is a day dedicated to celebrating creativity – whether you’re a professional artist or a hobbyist it’s all about taking part in the creative activity that you enjoy. Ideas Test has teamed up with Wide Eyed Theatre who invite you to a story exchange on 2 April.
‘Nothing for sale, Roll up roll up, take a look at our wares, nothing for sale, get your stories here’ – listen for this cry on the streets of Sittingbourne on this year’s Get Creative Day.
Join Wide Eyed Theatre at No.34 High Street at their market stall with a difference with absolutely nothing on sale. Stay for a while and exchange your ideas for stories old and new.
The theme for the day is Home
Bring along your ideas, objects, symbols of home – What does ‘home’ mean to you? Is it a place, a feeling, a building?
The stories will be recorded in a giant book that will have a home at No.34 for passersby to read and learn about a great day of story-making. Stories from the day will be recorded and broadcast on the Wide Eyed Theatre and Ideas Test’s websites.
