This Autumn, we have a new programme of creative workshops for adults, led by four Kent-based, professional artists. Book now for photography, ceramics, glass art & printed textiles. Bring a friend, meet people, rekindle an interest or learn a new skill at our vibrant arts space.
Sessions cost £45 – £55 per person, including all tuition, materials and light refreshments.
Arrive at 10am for tea and coffee. Workshops will run 10.30am – 3.30pm with a lunch break.

Arrange, photograph a beautiful still life and learn editing tips. With Rikard Österlund’s guidance, you will improve and build confidence in your photography and editing skills.

Design and create a bespoke ceramic house number. Laurie Harpum will help you create your design, and show you how to shape the clay. Your finished project will be glazed for you so it can be used or perhaps given as a gift!
Laurie Harpum is an mixed media artist living on the Isle of Sheppey. She draws inspiration from her environment and the objects she finds within it. Her work has been exhibited in Whitstable Horsebridge Centre, The Royal Engineers Museum, Brompton and OXO Tower, London. http://www.laurieharpum.com

Use copper foiling to make a glass sun catcher. Copper foiling is the same technique used to make Tiffany lamps. Karen Verma will show you how to cut glass, use copper foil, solder the seams, and apply patina and polish the finished projects.
Karen Verma is a successful commercial stained glass artist who designs and fabricates commissioned work and runs Glassmania Studio in Rochester.
Wednesday 15th November
Learn how to screen print your own design on a piece of fabric. Francesca Baur will show you how to expose a design onto the screen, mix colours and screen print more than one colour onto fabric. You will take home your finished product, where you could turn it into whatever you like!
